A silhouette in trenchcoat and fedora, the Faceless Man is an amalgam of noir and swash. Deliberately vague about his origins, he nevertheless has proven himself an invaluable asset to the Morgantown Camarilla. An information broker par excellence, he is ever motivated, always appearing to have more pies than fingers to stick into. His legendary Nosferatu sardonic wit and vitriol is alloyed with dignity and nobility of carriage. A battered mask hides Exeter's loathesome countenance--and almost conceals the twinkle in his eye.

What most Nosferatu know (and many other Kindred would give their fangs to know) is that Exeter the Faceless Man is, in fact, several Sewer Rats. The original Exeter was a Renaissance-era Portugese swashbuckler, and such were his tales of derring-do and trickery that he grew to something of a cult hero among the Nosferatu. It wasn't long before some enterprising Sewer Rat adopted the persona as his own, donning a mask and capitalizing on the fearsome reputation of his namesake. The gag caught on, and since time out of mind tunnel dwellers across the globe have taken on the identity of their cunning legend. The Nosferatu quietly chuckle at their grand joke, relishing the Camarilla's surprise at the masked man "who seems damn near omnipresent." The real Exeter, if he still exists, couldn't be happier...
